Hello friends,
Applied on 5th march with husband and my two children for trv. My sister in law invited us on the birthday party of her son. She completed all the documents well. And we too. But still waiting for it. Tracking Id says being processed in Delhi but I applied in jalandhar. Can anyone help in this regard???

It's not unusual for processing to take a few months. Unfortunately there's really nothing you can do but wait.

You could link your application with online gckey account on cic website. Some cases finalise within two weeks and some takes months.

Most of the application send to the Delhi visa office from Jalandhar.may be you can get good news today . I applied from chandighar

But when I applied the processing days were 30 including holidays may be it can extend to 40 or 45 days. Isn't???

You are right Simran, because processing times depends on the number of applications.

I don't think it depends on the number of applications because there are people who applied at the same time as me or after me and have already received their visas, sometimes within just a few days. It depends on your individual application and what they need to assess. Unfortunately I have been under 145 days of assessment.

Dats right too, as long as the officer is convinced by your application you will get visa.

There is nothing to worry about linking the application, it won't affect your application at all.
