Silly question but does this mean i can apply for the job even if i have applied for it previously?

Can't seem to find anything on this topic on the internet or should i just send them my cover letter and resume again?

Hi, Even I got the invitation to apply form some employer, however the job profile is not relevant to my work experience. What should I do?

I don't think it means anything very significant. I have messages stating that 3-4 employers have shown interest and asking me to apply, ironically, I had applied to those jobs some 2 weeks before such mail. So that must be an automated email.
