You can easily score higher then. You can score full for Reading and ListeningHaven’t created EE profile. Waiting for WES report. Sitting for IELTS this Saturday for the second time. Last attempt 8.5/7/6/6.5 (LRWS)
If the draw doesn't happen today and happens next Wednesday, then cut off would go to the 445-450 range.@abhishek_89 prediction about upcoming draw on 11th?
I have the same score. Is there any way to increase it?@abhishek_89 stuck at 441 since december, it would be a great help if you could advice me. Do you think I should reopen profile for OINP now? I waited for the score to go down but now it feels like they will deliberately keep it in 445+ range
True but I hope Mon/Wed will put most of us in the required bracket. I am still gunning for late 420s or at least early 430s.If the draw doesn't happen today and happens next Wednesday, then cut off would go to the 445-450 range.
Wow, what a result! Very inspiring and this gets you the bonus points too. But what is more important is that this language skills will help you to compete better in the job market, which is even more important than the ITA stage. Canada isn't a paradise country with high paid qualified jobs galore. The competition is fierce there too.Hello, thank you so much for your answer! and for the Language test result form or certificate number, I'll put the whole number (1234567 - 4567890, or just the first 8 - the ones before the hyphen? And I have 16 numbers in my certificate number...)
My TEF results: Comprehension ecrite - 293/300 - C2 / Comprehension orale - 316/360 - C1 / Expression ecrite - 354/450 - C1 / Expression orale - 345/450 - B 2
I am sitting at 432 in EE and I've decided to go for the TEF since I really needed the extra points, especially because in May I'll loose 10 points for my birthday. So it's a close call. April is my chance for getting an ITA. My native language is a latin one, as is French, so there are some resemblances. I also took some French courses in highschool. So I had some ideas about French grammar and knew some vocabulary, but I was very rusty. I took a French class for 2 months, not TEF oriented, but I needed to practice my speaking. I also studied by myself, TEF 250 activities book, some youtube videos, TV 5 Monde and so on. I didn't think I could get a good score, but I've tried to do my best. The most difficult for me it was the writing and the speaking, but it seems I managed somehow... I was very happy with the results because, as I've said, it's a close call, I needed the points really bad. I think I've manage a better score than I did on IELTS, but I'll still put French as my second language, since I'm aiming Nova Scotia for my settlement.
If my CRS was 441 and if it won't be affected by age in the next 3-4 months, then I would have waited for more draws before recreating profile. This would have been my personal decision in case I was in your same state. You can proceed based on your analysis as no one can state when you would get an ITA as the draw dates are not scheduled. You could receive an ITA in the next minute or it could take 3 months.@abhishek_89 stuck at 441 since december, it would be a great help if you could advice me. I hope you realize the EE pool would be crowded with profiles from CRS 425 till 441. So high number of invites and back to back draws like beginning of last year is required.True but I hope Mon/Wed will put most of us in the required bracket. I am still gunning for late 420s or at least early 430s.
I agree and I hope the draws start clearing the backlog. I wish that like 26th March, they surprise us all with Mon draw.I hope you realize the EE pool would be crowded with profiles from CRS 425 till 441. So high number of invites and back to back draws like beginning of last year is required.
