Sponsor Approval Done?

When I check my status on online services by CIC I see the following:
Sponsorship Application Status: Decision Made
Permanent Residence Application Status: Application received.

Under sponsorship application when I click on "decision made",
It shows:

Sponsorship
  1. We received your application to sponsor [name] on [date].
  2. We started processing your application on [date].

I just want to know does this means that it is Sponsor Approved?
Please help me clarify the meaning of 'Decision Made' under Sponsorship Application Status.

The Spousal Sponsorship application has 2 components.....the Sponsor Eligibility approval and the Sponsorship (Principal Applicant PR).

Sponsorship Application Status: Decision Made
Yes, Decision Made means Sponsor Eligibility has been approved.

Sponsorship
The Sponsorship (Principal Applicant PR) is currently in-process......currently takes between 9 to 12 months to complete.

Oh ok great.
Yes, I know the PR process from applicant side, but I wanted to confirm Sponsor side. As I am sponsor just wanted to confirm that its approved, as I haven't received any letter saying sponsor is approved, but status says decision made.

Thank you for confirming. So I can stop worrying about sponsor approval.

Once Sponsorship and Eligibility Status has been determined and IRCC has made a decision on your sponsorship application.
IRCC will inform the Sponsor in writing of the decision.......did you now receive a letter/email from IRCC.......usually sent around 2 months from the time your complete application was received.

If you have linked your application to Online Account.........the Letter has this text.........
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of XX XX XX and family (if applicable).
We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.

No, I haven't received any email like that and I have application linked.

Only staus for "Permanent Residence Application Status" is "DECISION MADE" on "online services CIC" website.

But I should be receiving that email soon then. But I guess online status its confirmed.

What Date was your application received ?
You should get the letter around 2 months from the Date your application was received at IRCC Missisauga......

January 22, 2018. (email was to me sponsor)

My wife got another email on March 23, 2018. But this doesn't say anything about the sponsor. This only says :

"This is an automated system-generated letter to acknowledge the receipt of your application. Your
application has been assigned the unique file number indicated at the top of this letter. All your
correspondence with this office should refer to that unique file number.
This letter confirms that your Application for Permanent Residence as a member of the Family Class was
received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at the Case Processing Centre in
Mississauga on 22/01/2018."

Relax........i think you will receive the letter soon, its past 2 months now...........the Letter has this text.........

You could also call IRCC 1-888-242-2100 to confirm your approval.
