CIC hasn’t requested the CSQ yet! I am waiting for that. I have a feeling I’ll get that after my medical is uploaded next Friday.

Ok i see. So they request for meds before the csq stage? Didnt know thats how it works! This means the meds will be processed in Missississauga before file is transferred to local VO. Well lets see how it goes! Good youre a step ahead of mine. Hope you get through ASAP

how it works when they request passport and give spousal visa, when the applicant will receive her PR card?
will they give COPR with passport or at the port of entry?
when the applicant landed, when she gets her PR card, and how?

Then you land with the COPR

Then you get the PR card, processing time is about 60 or so days right now.

Your post is indicating you've already received AOR1.
If you have not then give it a couple more days before you try to call.
They will not email you about your file status, they will simply return the application.

Good reading this. We have a similar situation. Similar in all the scenarios but for the fact that I applied 1 month after you and from Montreal. Hope my file goes as fast as yours. Did she do her meds in Dubai or Abu dhabi? That was pretty fast though. Good luck

Who gets the AOR first? Applicant or the sponsor?

I am the sponsor and I got my AOR. But my spouse who is the applicant did not yet receive the AOR. Is that possible? Or did it get lost in spam emails. I am not the representative so I cannot link the application online with my UCI # I got in my AOR.

You can try to link using the application number and family name. Just a suggestion, no guarantee this will work. You can also try calling to inquire about not receiving the email.

Are their any sponsors who are applying from outside of Canada. My file was received on Feb 16. but we haven't received any confirmation of opening yet. Do they send it somewhere else for processing? The sponsor and applicant are both in the USA.
