As promised here are my scores from the TEF exam for an illustration of what could be expected.
Reading - C1 - CLB 9 - 6 points;
Listening - C1 - CLB 8 - 3 points;
Writing - B2 - CLB 6 - 1 point;
Speaking - B1 - CLB 5 - 1 point.

In total, I've received 11 points and since this effort lasted more than a year (15 months) I've already lost 5 points due to my age. Still, I think it was worthy for the extra 6 points earned. Unfortunately, I failed to get the bonus.

Some analysis for those who are interested in getting some points on French exams:
1. The 30 points bonus is all that matters and you get it only if none of the skills is less than CLB 7. As you can see I've made a mistake in my preparation for the exam. Some skills are too high while others lag behind.
2. I agree that it is possible to speed up on learning process if you take courses or have somebody to communicate with you in French.
3. Even though you study alone by yourself you WILL eventually get a bunch of points. My case proves what you can do that because I'm not gifted for languages. I was just an average Joe at school or college in that field. BUT... you will have to spend at least an hour or two every day.
4. I doesn't take years to learn a new language if you have motivation and persevere in it.

What went wrong with speaking?
Was it all self taught?

Best is to try to check wine WES or others. Some do have list of recognised universities. And your ECA is not that much if the learning was distant or not but more about if your diploma will be recognized.
Thanks for responding.. I did check and saw that the colleges that I was looking at are listed as recognized institutes. The typical course has 12-18 credits and takes 8-12 months to complete.

But, does WES evaluate online course from a recognized university? and my assumption is that I will be able to claim points for my bachelor and the certificate.

so when should we expect (like most likely) the next draw ?
Wednesday. If not this Wednesday, I predict the scores may shoot up. We have an advantage if it happens this Wednesday because there has been no IELTS results since the last draw.

Not entirely true, the March 3rd IELTS results started rolling out since last week and some are yet to get their scores. I got mine last Monday.

Usually those results should have been announced by 17th-18th March? There may not be many people who's scores are rolling out now.

Good day people in here,have few questions.
1 my score is 443 nd I was wondering, how soon I may get ITA with this score bcz after 2 month I'm losing 5 points on that,?therefore I decided to give ielts again my score is
S 7 R7.5 W7.5 L 8
Please tell me can I brink more points if even I improve it by 0.5?
And last there is ielts test on 21 of april what you guys think should I give exam or wait this april month with 443? Thank you...
If you only improve listening by 0.50 you will get extra 57 points...MUST go for it ....

True. But there's a delay with the results, for quite a few people, even mine got delayed by over a week, was supposed to get it on March 16th, got the hard copy on March 26th.
