Hi guys,

How can I identify the Security Screening starting date from GCMS Notes?
All I see is that the latest Activity says that SS is Not Started.
Is it possible to have Security Screening at the 5th month after the AOR not even started?

What is aor. When u get tbis gcms. If i am not wrong they are hidding now even if you in security screening. What is activity 1 and 2 showing in ur gcms.

Activities 1 and 2 are all empty, except for my Name and UCI. AOR was on 01-Oct-2017. GCMS was generated on 13-Feb-2018.

Usually security screening starts when the background checks start. When your file went to ip2?

I don't really know. But around the middle of Nov-2017 they were done with medicine, Criminality, InfoSharing and Eligibility (they're all passed) and Background Check status changed to `We are processing your background check.`. But I've never ever seen NA sate, never had ADR.
The GCMS Notes generated on 19-Dec-2017 had no "Security Screening" activity. It only came about in the 13-Feb-2018 Notes. Where, as I've said before, "Security Screening" is in the "Not Started" status, which is super weird.

I probably will. Even though the waiting time of 50-60 days is frustrating.

Not that super weird, any more. Do you know your program assistant if it is VCM, then it is not unusual to be send to SS even before final review and after 7 months of AOR. I received my GCMS notes after 5 months of AOR and no mentioning of SS, even after 6 months my file was waiting for final review and just couple of weeks back told by program assistant (VCM) that need additional background

I'm not aware of who's my program assistant. I wrote an email and only received a templated reply.
Your file is currently under review and requires additional verification. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

They haven't even admitted that I'm under Security Screening.

It will be written at the end of this email. If the email is from program assistant then it could be VCM, DRD, EXP etc.

I'm shitting myself now after reading this. After 5months of waiting for an officer to review my file as per DRD email the latest responce I recieved from her was further BGC verification needed so I guess they decided to do so 5 months onto the bloody application! nearly 3months in IP2. GCMS notes for Nov and Jan doesn't show SS and should be getting the third set in couple of days...I hope I don't see SS in them

Yes, It seems SS. I also have the similar reply about about additional background. Just ordered notes t confirm it. Have you ordered recently?

Dam man...Thats a long wait. I planned my life and I'm sure most of us thinking it will be done in 6 months...I resigned last month and will cancel my UAE employment visa soon and God knows where I'm about to end up now...Anyhiw we can't do nothing but wait...All the best mate with your application

That sucks. I passed 6 months already and still see no updates in SS or what so ever too.
