I received my ECA report today morning at 4am EST. My ECA was due on 4/2 but I received 5 days before. Still waiting for my wife's evaluation to complete which is due on 4/5...

Any idea on when I can expect it to be completed ? The completion date is not mentioned.

You will get due date once they start evaluation. You can see earlier replies in this thread to get some estimations.

Reviewing evaluation report - 3/11 and report due on 4/2

We are the same on the Document reached and Documents in review on 03/01 but they haven't yet started my evaluation at least when I last got update from agent on 19th of March.
I have asked agent for update so hopefully I will get update tomorrow.

It says Evaluation in Progress at the bottom, So I guess they have accepted the documents and now evaluating.

Is it 20 calendar days or business days?

Hold status: 19th March. They Not-Accepted my degree transcript because I didn't send from University which actually issued. This is comment from WES:

Reason: The document was not received from the institution or the appropriate examining body that awarded the degree/diploma as required by WES.

Instructions: Please arrange for your academic documents to be sent directly to WES by the institution or examining body that awarded your degree/diploma.

I have contacted the issuing University to send the transcript directly to WES.

After my original post for my evaluation being on hold because I asked to assess both Grad and post grad and my university still hasn't send the transcripts ( thats another sob story ) . WES call center folks asked me to put a written request to remove my Grad assessment , its been two days still no confirmation from WES .

Any idea guys how long it should take from WES side to remove my grad assessment once I submitted the request . Do they truly do it under 48 hrs .

Relax. It's a long weekend everywhere. They'll get back to you by Monday or Tuesday.
By the way, why didn't you ask the university to send you the documents directly before mailing it to WES?

My University for masters did great job and sent it in 4 days however I did my bachelors from some other university ( both recognized by WES) and its been 45 days and they are still yet to send the transcripts to WES . Thats why i decided to remove bachelors assessment and continue with Masters only .

This is what I'm asking. Why didn't the university send the documents to you so that you could post them to WES directly?

They simply don't , like lots of universities . They refused to send it to me directly . They charged extra to send to WES .

Darn! You're unlucky there. Can you not escalate this issue to someone at your university? When I sent my initial request, it was neither acknowledged nor did I get a confirmation that they have started work on the transcript. After 5-6 days I tried calling them but no response. I escalated to Dean of student affairs and Dean of examinations, and immediately I got a mail saying that the documents have already been dispatched! So you can give it a last shot before you write to WES.

Thanks for your empathy , I am this close (2.5mm) to escalate this . You know how the system works in universities . They really don’t care of others career they gonna take their own sweet time.
Let’s see , hopefully next week may bring some good news.
