I need a bit of calming down and gentle support if you don't mind.
Passed my exam and interview on March 15. Two weeks later, still no DM. Other people from Edmonton who passed their exam after me all got their updates. That seems like an offly long time.
The officer had to check my entry/exit points with USA, since US border doesn't stamp passports when traveling by car. Therefore, I was "missing" some stamps when compared to my travel list. However, that can be checked on US border control website in 1 minute.
What can take them so long? Is there a way to remind CIC about myself and should I do it?
Thank you guys, I feel really low when I see everyone else getting their DMs in 2 days after the interview :(

The fact that you do not yet have DM may be unrelated to your travels. Your background checks may still be in progress, which can take quite a bit of time. IRCC cannot give a time estimate for the security clearance, as that is handled by CSIS.

Also, don't stress too much. Its a simple process. Just focus on the book. Read it to understand it. All the best. If anything else, just message and ill try to help.

How long took the letter to arrive home

Hello forum members. I am a truck driver and I have applied in November. Got AOR and IP. I had 1096 days including my hundreds of border crossings. After my file reached the local visa office, I was mailed a request to redo the ph presence calculator and to fill every crossing as a driver as well. Doing that, I ve had only 900 days spent in canada. I wrote them a letter explaining the situation and I ve also attached one from my employer, where it states that I ve been crossing the border weekley as an employee for a Canadian company. It has been one month since I ve sent those letters back to them. No updates. Anyone with a similar problem ? What is the worst thing to expect from them ? Thanks.

Edmonton is super fast!! Congrats!
Yes I agree. We are about 50 people who took the test and about 1.5 hours the officers were done doing the interviews. Edmonton office so efficient and awesome people.

If you have less than the required number of days of physical presence there is no possibility they will grant you citizenship. There is no legal basis for IRCC to waive that requirement.

If you do not have the required number of days in Canada, your only option is to withdraw your application (you'll be refunded the right of citizenship fee, but not the processing fee) and wait until you meet the physical presence requirement and then re-apply. There is a withdrawal form available to do so. If you do not withdraw, your application will be denied.

Hey folks! My application was received by CPC-Sydney on November 20, 2017. Still no AOR :( Just wondering how many of us are hanging like this?
