New Delhi (NDVO) 2017 - Spousal Sponsorship Outside Canada

Since then there was no update for months. I had taken my medicals in April of 2017. Last week I got a call from the Canada High Commission of new Delhi, asking me to take another medical cause as of next month, it will be one year after the medical. Medicals are only valid for a year. I took the medicals few days back and I cleared it. Now finally GCkey shows that my background check is in progress. How much longer does it usually take from here on. I seriously think this is unfair as we are made to wait for so long. It's been 1 year and 2 months since we got married. I wish they would give more importance to family reunification.

You are almost there. You can expect dm and ppr anytime soon from now. All the best..

Guys, little help here
My fiance applied for visitor visa recently to visit me in Canada which got rejected.

We are getting married next month and i will be applying for pr under family sponsorship soon after. Will the rejection she had recently affect her chance to be sponsored? Please advice.

Exactly....For us also it has been 1 year and 4 months....I’m 17 feb 2017 applicant but still waiting. Just stressing and the worst thing is we can only wait no other way.
Even I’m in the same boat because I applied on 17 feb, my file transfer to nvdo on 23 March, medical and pcc submitted in May and after that no updates and till now I’m waiting for dm.
It has been 10 months that I haven’t got any update but on 27 feb 2018 on my gckey account I saw a change that “ we are reviewing additional.....” ( but I didn’t submitted any additional document after pcc and medical in May).

Yes, I did in September.
Eligibility- passed
Medical- passed
Criminality- in progress
On my gckey account “ we are processing your background check” since July.
I did mp inquiry too last month and the only update I got was that they are processing criminality check.
