Hello, I am a fsw outland applicant based in the UK. Myself and my partner received a passport request on the 8th. As we are both from Visa exempt countries (I'm from UK he's from Taiwan) we submitted scanned colour copies of the biometric information page and photographs and the completed appendix A table.
On Friday my consultant forwarded a message requesting that my partner
submit his Chinese passport to VFS (which he doesn't have because he's from Taiwan) to be issued a temporary visa. I am hoping this is a misunderstanding because the Taiwanese passport refers to the Republic of China (ROC) rather than the people's republic of China (PRC). I have raised a CSE about it and emailed the London High commission (who told me i should raise a CSE). I am just looking for confirmation that I've done the right things, I can't think what else to do because I feel sure it's their mistake.
