Hi,

My parents opened up a FD under my name the last month and I intend to apply for EE in April
My score is 450 and I'm expecting to receive an invitation in a month or two. I've 50% funds in my own account and 50% from my parents

Do I need to provide a gift deed for funds received from my parents ?
If so, does it have to be notarized on a stamp paper ?

Thanks

I'm in the same boat, doing 50% money I had and 50% as a gift from my parents.
They wrote a gift deed and had it signed and then notarised by a notary public in Australia (it's on stamp paper). They also sent me details of the bank transfer (just a print out from the bank confirming the transfer)

The gift deed is 100% essential, the easiest thing to make sure you're totally covered is to get that gift deed notarised.
