Please Update Spreadsheet
Test passed March 22
Decision Made March 24
Location Calgary

About the test I definitely over prepared I read the book almost 3 times and listened to the audio book once and did lots of online questions. Reading the book twice would probably be enough but I’m glad I did over prepare because now I’m filled with all this knowledge about Canada.
Before the test started they asked everyone to write down any travel dates they have booked in the next 4 months so I assume no oath date will clash with applicants travel.

Good luck to the rest now I wait for my oath invite
My friend you sent your application in November and decision made on March! That's amazing.I guess I have to eat maple jam everyday to get better luck. :p.

You probably read discover canada but you failed to understand that this beautiful country was built by the help of refuges (british, Irish, run away american refugeed slaves, chines rail road workers.. etc. One day not too far from today, one of this refugees son/daughter will come up with something great for canada maybe a cure to cancer or a cure for an inhuman neglection of universal moral that unfortunately you are diagnosed with. By the way your friend with PhD owes a great deal to his native country first why is he here. Education and wealth should not give your phd friend any extra merit to become a pr/citizen... Human dignity and value should. Here in Canada we are willing to give refugees our tax $ because we value their dignity and importance and we sometimes forgive those small percentage that cheat our system
come on guys no more fighting here it was a sunny day ! lets talk about something else to clear the air .
who's gonna win tomorrow Negan or Rick ? is Negan goin to get Lucille back ?

Why the agent asked my wife to send an application from RAMQ?!!!
all people told me that it takes about 40 days to RAMQ send us this Application to be ready?!!!
There is no others way to get it faster?!!
And way RAMQ so slowly..and I think many people only from Montreal asked to get it?!!

Because they had a reason to question the physical presence of your wife during her eligibility period. Yes, that seems to be the time it takes to get that information. No. Only some. Because people in other offices in a similar situation would be asked for health claim reports from their provincial health plans rather than RAMQ.

Guys, based on your experiences which online practice test/quiz websites are more useful and closer to the real test? I was going through one of them which was mostly about names and dates which doesn't look close to the real test!

Thanks!

You're overthinking it. It's not a difficult test. You'll need to know names, dates (years), understand Canadian politics, and some of Canadian popular culture helps. It's all in the book. If it's not in the book, it won't be on the test.

I used the tests at apnatoronto and read the book.

Read (or listen to) the book a few times. If you don't learn well that way, write your own flash cards or notes (based on the book) to help you learn better.

(Someone on here recommended a CBC documentary as an extra way of becoming familiar with the material, so if that works for you then that may be worthwhile, too. But remember that only what's in the book is part of the test, so seeking out other information sources can only be a studying aid. The book should be your focus.)

Use the practice sites to check that you remember things and to get used to the format of the test, but not to learn the material. The actual test questions are likely to be different from the ones on any of the practice sites, so using the practice sites to learn the material is not a good approach.

(bolding mine, which I disagree with a little bit)

I didn't read the book. I took the practice tests and if I didn't know a question, I would refer to the book for the answer. There are 10 practice tests, which I went through about 3-4 times. Many of the facts presented in the questions were similar enough to the ones on the test that it did help with the learning of the material.
