Additional Document Request: Ontario Marriage Certificate

Dear altruists,

I am a CEC applicant. I got an ADR letter two days ago asking to submit marriage certificate/ license. I uploaded the certified copy of marriage registration (long form) and a copy of record of solemnization of marriage, with my original application.When I got the adr email, I thought the files were not uploaded properly, so, I re-uploaded the same file. Today, when I was surfing the forum and myimmitracker, I found out that I was probably wrong. Apparently, I have to order a copy of marriage certificate now which will take 5 days minimum. Since I uploaded the same file and status shows that "it is being reviewed", is there any way that I can request the officer to hold on my application? Or any other idea to protect my files against being refused? Any comment or suggestion will be appreciated. I remain..

Communicate with IRCC via webform about your error and your steps to address it. If you do not do this quickly, they could make a decision that your application is incomplete.

Thank you! Just wanted to let you know that they gave me an option to upload another copy on the MyCIC account within 24 hours of my CSE through Web form. Smart move indeed. This forum has been so much helpful. Thank you again.
