Once they will start processing our file it will change to you are requested to submit medical

One is "your application is in progress, we will let you know when we start your background check" and "We are processing your background check and let you know if we need information". I wonder what is the difference, do you know?

One is "your application is in progress, we will let you know when we start your background check" and "We are processing your background check and let you know if we need information". I wonder what is the difference, do you know?

Review of eligibility: we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam

Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.

Interview: You don’t need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Final decision: You application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I am a MPNP applicant .
Application received on 23 January, 2018 and have got AOR on 26 February, 2018. Waiting for next step.

next step means waiting for the med request?

I heard that most of the people get an additional document request in about 4 months after AOR, and then a medical request will come 8 months after additional document request. So It will take 12 months to get a medial request...

My CIC says "your application is in progress, we will let you know when we start your background check"

I am not sure but "We are processing your background check and let you know if we need information". means they have already started working on your file and BG check is going on at present, you may received PPR in months time.

I am bit confused whether next step can be FT or MR.

I don't think so, I just got my AOR on 15 March 2018 and "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." have been state in my account since the day I linked it to MyCIC account. So can't guest whet CIC doing...
