Hey,
First of all you cannot send your passport outside the country, Exception is for (USA-CANADA) and this would also be written on your email. So Basically you require change of Visa Office. Drop an email to CPC Ottawa stating that you reside in India and are not legally entitled to send passport outside the country. Do mention in Subject line *Urgent*. IF they do not reply in 2 - 3 days followup on the email and later call CIC.

I did the same and got reply from New Delhin in 4 Business days.

"Our consultant said to wait for two more days as they generally issue a new mail and then give access to India's VPS office" this is nonsense and you should not blindly trust consultant. You have 30 days to send your passport.
Hey Deepika, received the next mail also. So will submit the passport to VPS office now. Thanks guys, you all have always been a great help

Thanks for the update!
I'm not liking the pace at which they are issuing PPRs to Feb 27ths. I'm really just a little bit tired :-(

So true...
But already March AORs started getting their PPR's... So, maybe we all have to wait patiently

One of my friend she got PPR couple of hours back
Pnp Outland
AOR 8th feb
IP2 27th feb
PPR today
Yes her status is showing PPR on MyImmiTracker.com. She has been fortunate enough to have her PNP-O case processed in Ottawa irrespective of her country of stay. Really happy for her. At the same time a bit confused to see how the applications are picked & processed under the same stamps & procedures even after the express entery implementation. Including her there were few more IP2s of 27feb to cross the PPR level on Friday for partying well on this weekend.

  1. Turkey — FSW.O—Ankara— 99
  2. India —PNP.O -—Ottawa-- 44
  3. Nigeria — PNP.O—London—206
  4. Egypt — PNP.O—London —235
  5. Algeria— FSW.O- London—182

Happy weekend!

Cheers

Called IRCC yesterday to ask about a payment issue I got last month and also asked about the progress of my application (Ip2 on 27 feb). The agent only talked about it very briefly, like “your application is in progress” and that “average time is 6 months”.

Not sure what’s holding my processing back.

Come on my friend. That dude was in a weekend mood & without checking the details of your case he preferred to give you a chill pill of six months. you better try it on Tuesday or Wednesday ;)

Pretty sure he checked the details, but emphasized it like "I've SPECIFICALLY checked the payment issue you mentioned" to shut me up on any further questions regarding progress :D

Anyway I've already ordered a GCMS, so at least there's an upcoming deadline to look forward to. Would be best if I got my PPR before that, but either case I'll have more accurate information.
