course more than 6 months and less than 24 months makes you eligible to applying for PG work permit of equal length months studied.

For 16 months studies, you will be granted a 16 months PG work permit.

Course > or = 24 months leads to 3 years PG work permit

:)

If it is written on your Acceptance letter and transcripts issued by your institute that you were been enrolled in Full time 2 years course.

You are eligible for 3 years PGWP :)

let me know the college name....

My college clearly mentioned on its Acceptance letter a 8 months course. Though there are 2 consecutive semesters in a row:(

Correction "You MAY be eligible for a 3 year PGWP", the operative word is MAY

Hi guys, my post graduate work permit refused because I attended private college. Firstly, I did a one year post graduate diploma from Sheridan after that I did one year diploma from Canadian institution of management and technology (not eligible for pgwp, I didn’t know at that time). My consultant have appealed for this decision because they could give me a one year work permit on the basis of study, I have done in Sheridan.

My question is that can I apply for restoration status as a student at the same time appealing for work permit because my study permit have expired So I have only 90 days for restoration and they are not replying for my appeal.

Please help me. thank you

Yes get your acceptance letter asap from college and apply restoration. The work permit appeal wont effect it.If you have a successful appeal for work permit, you can then apply for refund of fees from college.

1, The OP completed his course at Sheridan before the private school. As s/he didn't apply within 90 days of graduation from Sheridan, not eligible for PGWP.
