Hey Everyone,

UPDATE:
We have a bit of a situtation here,
We took the test on march 13, both passed (19/20) and after the interview my spouse was asked to attend the oath ceremony which was scheduled for March 15, which he did and is a proud Canadian now
As for me, Apparently they have not received my FP's yet which were sent on Feb 13th (exactly a month earlier).
I was informed that once the processing is complete i'd be invited for another oath ceremony sometime in the next 2-4 months.
As for the ecas, it says "in process" for both of us!

Sorry to hear about the delay due to the FP. Would you please let us know when you get the oath invite? Would give us all an idea of how much delay the FP step could cause.

I agree with @sns204.

I am sure your spouse made/make up for this action - taking you out for dinner, some massage therapy and perhaps a vacation!!

I think it’s normal, and (I know frustrating) mine has been IP since November. At some point I thought I’m never gonna get a test invite, but I’m sure we will!

I agree... but knowing that so many people are at the end of the road is so frustrating... I just called and they told me "Nothing is wrong with your application, just wait and call us if nothing has happened by October 2018"...

I did the FP in 1st week of Feb and after that, there is complete silence. I thought that we might be getting the test invite by March, but, no update till now.

Did you check whether CIC recieved the FP?

I was asked for finger print on March 12 and got the letter on March 14, 2018 and did it on the same day. Yesterday I called RCMP the operator said by check was completed on Friday and they mailed it on Monday (yesterday).

How long do you think usually it takes to get test call after FP is recieved?

We’re also waiting for test invite, we’ve done FP last March 5..

I do not know whether we receive the test call or not from CIS of receiving the FP. For individuals with clean records, the details are sent within 3 days of FP.

where did you get the 3 day timeframe?

I have a clean record and my FP are with CIC for a while now. They claimed that all is good and I'll receive the test info once they have a test scheduled for my local office. So it all depends on your local office. Some are faster, some are slower.
