Hi,

I would recommend you first check with the visa office about the validity/cancellation of your mom's TRV before applying for a super visa.

Do go through this thread for a similar situation:
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/supervisa-for-mom-who-already-has-a-valid-10-yr-trv.542158/

Hi Bryanna, thanks so much for reply. i tweeted IRCC about my doubt and this is what they have replied (so it seems my mom visitor visa would stay as is even if supervisa gets rejected):

Hi, if the super visa application is rejected, it should not have an impact on her visitor visa. Thanks!

Dear Bryanna, I am Nam and my story is for you and I think I have the worst luck out of all the people here. My biggest regret in my life is not having my granny here to see my home and my children.

We have been trying to get our grandmother here for the longest time and failed miserbly.

Initially, about 15 years ago my mother applied for a PR application and it was rejected due to not meeting the LICO. It was our fault as we never updated cic about my father's death and change of family size for my mother being only 2 members including my grandmother. Past is past.

Since, than we applied on 3 occasions for visitor visas are were refused.

All the refusal information goes back to "no travel history", "strong family ties in Canada and weak ties and establishment in India", "also the fact that we applied for PR and was refused".

Now, my grandmother 80 years old and since her refusal for PR many years ago, a lot has changed. She does not wish to live in Canada, as she counts her time down to her departure from earth. But she still wants to see Canada and see our livelihood here. We are aiming for a visitor visa for this July, 2018 when our new nephew is coming.

So, thank you for reading up until here....

Now, My question for you Bryanna,: What can I do to show that she is not going to stay here.
1. I was planning to add all her step-children names in her application. We have never done that before, I do not know why. Do you think I should do that now? Because her only child from her first spouse is my mother, and she is here along with 3 children (my brother and my sister) and 5 grandchildren.
2. I was also going to literally write a separate letter titled:"Family Ties and reason to return" Trying to convince the visa officer, why my grandmother is not planning to stay in Canada. Which includes her religious ties, her ageing, her common-law-partner and her step-children and more...her house, Canadian weather.
3. Do you think I should possibly minimise the her stay here to 1 month instead of 6 months? Should it be 2 weeks? I plan on writing a clear schedule for her stay here as well.
5. Do you think I should buy her air tickets?

Many thanks for your time and your kindness.

hello there @Bryanna, hope you've been well. i see you're quite well versed in regards to the supervisa application, so just wanted to try my luck to get some of my questions answered regarding the matter.

i would like to apply supervisa for my parents, who are in pakistan. my parents also have 2 dependent children(my siblings) age 15 and 20, who have to accompany my parents when they will be visiting me in Canada, during my sibling's summmer vacations in pakistan. as both of my siblings are enrolled in school full-time.

A little background about me; i came to Canada in 2011 as an international student, after finishing college in 2013, i started working full-time on post grad work permit in 2014 and have been working since then. I got married in august 2016, and my wife being a born Canadian, sponsored me to become PR, thru inland spousal sponsorship application, and i became a permanent resident in January 2018.

our household income is more than double the LICO income required to support 6 individuals, myself. my spouse, both my parents and my 2 siblings.

when i was getting married in august 2016, i applied for a visit visa for my parents and my 2 underage siblings, 4 months before the wedding, and it got rejected stating that they do not have enough travel history. hence my parents and siblings have yet to meet my wife.

now my questions are as follows:
1- would i be submitting visit visa application for my siblings separately from my parents application? or it goes together?
2- where can i get a checklist of documents to be submitted for my siblings application?
3- based on the visa rejection i stated above, what additional documents would help my case?

i really hope to get a quick response. thanks in anticipation.

Your siblings cannot be included as dependents of your parents for their super visa applications.

This means your siblings must apply for TRVs on their own.

2- where can i get a checklist of documents to be submitted for my siblings application?
Your siblings must prove they have reasons to return to Pakistan after a short visit. This can be tricky to prove if your parents are applying for super visas.

Also, as your entire family will be applying (for either super visas or for TRVs), their family ties to Canada would outweigh those to Pakistan. It might be a good idea if your siblings do not apply for TRVs.

3- based on the visa rejection i stated above, what additional documents would help my case?
It would depend on the individual circumstances of each applicant + the intended duration of their visit + their financial situation + any previous travel history

Cheers

Hi everyone, I am preparing super visa for my parents., please someone can help me to answer the following concern of mine?

1. I want to show my father's properties and business documents to justify his ties to the resident country. In which section I should provide this information and document?

2. Me and my wife together earn $104K, however, we both started our full-time permanent jobs on1st, May 2017 (i had have contracted job from 1st Jan to 17 march 2017), therefore, we got NOA for around 40K each (1st May-Dec 31st, 2017).
My question is, as I am applying for my parents so I have NOA for 40K 2017 and my income is 44K/year, but our household income is 104K as my wife earns 60K and her 2017 NOA is also around 40K. What if a visa offer just would see my NOA/salary (40K/44K) which is under LICOs income as I am calling MY parents. Or, they would also assess my wife's salary too so I would be good enough as per LICOs?

I know in my second question I am thinking too much, actually, my parents got reject Visit visa in 2015 when I try to call them for my convocation ceremony that's why this time I am very concern before applying.

I hope someone from this forum could able to help me out to answer my above concerns.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

A few questions regarding super visa .

1. If you have to apply for a super visa , do parents have to create a CIC profile ? How does the process work ?
2. What’s the approximate amount in INR do parents need to show into their bank account before applying ?
3. How many years of Income tax returns is required for parents ? Is one year of Tax returns for parents good enough ?
4. I landed last July 2017 and started with part time work , so my NOA received does NOT have the minimum income required as per LICO. I started with full time job in February 2018 and my current income DOES satisfy the LICO requirement, do I have to wait till next year so that my NOA would show the income required OR can I apply using the current employment letter and pay stubs with satisfies income requirement ?
5. Do Parents have to buy insurance before applying for super visa ? At what stage do parents have to buy insurance?
6. Do parents have to do Medicals beforehand or is there a specific time frame in which they would have to do medicals after applying ? What is advisable?
7. Is there is a minimum amount of money parents need to bring along when they land ?
8. What is the average processing time for super visa from the date of application?

Any information / clarifications on above questions is highly appreciated. Thanks . ✌

Most of the questions you have posted have been answered here:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/parent-grandparent-super-visa/eligibility.html

Your questions put a lot of emphasis on the finances of your parents. Do be aware that for super visas, your parents' financial situation + how much money they will bring, etc are irrelevant as compared to your financial ability to support their stay.

If your NOA does not prove that you meet LICO, you would want to wait until next year to apply for their super visas

Optional/Letter of Explanation.

All documents that cannot be slotted into specific sections must be combined into a single PDF and uploaded to this Optional/Letter of Explanation slot.

You and your wife can co-sign the invitation letter + include your marriage certificate + documents from both of you to prove that you and your wife jointly meet LICO

Does this happen to anyone? Is it normal? Not sure why i haven’t received that email yet.

Dear @Bryanna - For Proof of funds for Super visa - can I just only show my bank funds? If yes how much money should I show in the same. Also is there a waiting time after which I can invite my mother for a super visa after getting the PR. Let me know - Thanks

It's advisable to apply for her super visa after you are able to submit at least one NOA (in addition to your bank statement, employment letter, financial investments, etc).

Proof of funds: Your mom's finances

Proof of financial support: Your finances
