Hello all!
My application is "In Process" since November 10, 2017. My other timeline can be seen in my signature.
I ordered GCMS on February 14, 2018 for me and my wife and received my GCMS notes by email on March 16, 2018.
While going through the GCMS notes of my wife, I came across the following entries:
Primary Office: Mississauga IRCC
Secondary Office: St. Clair IRCC
Criminality:

Status Updated: 2017/11/10
Type: Criminality Clearance
Status: In Progress

Sub Activities:
Status Updated: 2017/11/10
Type: CIT RCMP Screening
Status: Fingerprints Required
Status Updated: 2017/11/10
Due Date: 2018/01/24

Notes:
Updated: 2018/01/16
Restricted: No
Label: Clearance/Crim
Office: St. Clair IRCC
Text: Referred to Officer for Review. IG/CEN-ON

We have not been contacted by the IRCC to submit the fingerprints. There is no mention of any such correspondence in the "Outgoing correspondence" in the GCMS notes.

My understanding says that I should send a request through "Web Enquiry" to IRCC and tell them about the mention of fingerprints in the GCMS notes.

I will highly appreciate your guidance in this regard.

Thank you

I'll 'bump' this one as it's important for those of us who haven't ever requested our files' GCMS notes to know from others on here whether your seemingly unusual/odd discovery means that we should all begin requesting our own GCMSs in order to be sure that our own files aren't being retarded by some kind of CIC/IRCC bureaucratic snafu. I haven't ever requested my GCMS notes so far, as I'd seen on another post some months ago that doing so can retard the progress of one's application (which'll be highly ironic if the converse proves to be truer, hehe). Anyhow, presumably yours is either a bureaucratic snafu, or they're actually meaning to write to you with their FP request and they simply haven't gotten around to it after having been avalanched since Oct.11th. Based on my past bad experiences with CIC in pre-PR days, and based on my MP's staffer's off-the-record comments to me, I wouldn't actually be in the least surprised if they've effed-up. If I were you, I'd immediately phone the IRCC call centre and ask the agent to look you up on their screen to tell you what they can see on there regarding the progress of your file, and whether there is in fact an outstanding/overdue FP request on there. Good luck. Hopefully someone reliable on here such as @dpenabill or @spyfy or @razerblade can respond to you on here as well, based on their experience & readings & up-to-dateness.

Thank you Chippyboy for taking time to write and give your detailed opinion. Today is Saturday and I will call IRCC on Monday. Alternately, I may send them an email through IRCC web form in the mean time. I am waiting for more insights from the other experienced members.

This is probably deserves one of @dipenabill long and detailed answer but just going by logical deduction it may just be delay due to the sheer volume of applications. It was referred to St. Clair on Jan 16th and that office processes all fingerprints for eastern Canada (the other office for west being Vancouver).

Scroll down in the notes to the correspondence section. It will list there when the request was made, if at all. What does it say there?

Outgoing Correspondence show only one item and that is sent by CPC Sydney. It is the AoR (Acknowledgement letter) I received on October 13, 2017.

Nothing was sent to you yet or it'd be noted there. Perhaps the reviewing officer decided to not require FP. I'd be inclined to at least file another ATIP to see if anything has changed in the month. Or try to call them.

Thank you sns204. What do you think, wouldn't it be better to contact them first and then after a week file another ATIP to see if my query triggered any movement?

No harm in sending the ATIP request so why not request that now?
Thank you sns204 for the reply. It takes at least 30 days to get the ATIP processed. If my query triggers some action it will be covered in the GCMS notes if I request ATIP after few days.

I don't have any hands on experience with GCMS notes, but it is worthwile to point out that your file went into review by someone else BEFORE the finger prints would have been due. Probably that review person decided in favour of not requesting FP? This is nothing but a guess of mine, as said I don't have any experience with it in detail.

Sorry, can't really help out here, I agree with the above members who say that contacting IRCC is a good idea.
