Landing in a province other than the one that sponsored you?

I'm preparing to land in Canada (I will be immediately leaving for the time being) and was sponsored by OINP, however I'm currently on the US west coast, and it would be much easier/cheaper for me to cross into BC. If I do this, should I expect any trouble given that OINP sponsored me, but I'm crossing into another province? I do have an address in ON I can provide for them to mail the card, and I have no intention of living in BC.

Sure that's fine, as long as you describe all that to the CBSA officer in case the officer asks you.
