I got approved on my cic today as well, does this mean the immigration visa is issued?

how did you know that they started your background check? is BGIP stands for a Background check or not? If yes, you said it was started on February 27, but how did you find out?

I always check my cic account three times a day. Feb 26th my background check was N/A , on the 27th it changes to BGIP

I recently got PPR. I am submitting only my passport my to CPC-Ottawa. Passports of dependents will be submitted different visa office because they are currently living outside of north america. Do I need to send only my photos with my passport (or photos of all members)?

Yeah and just above the status they will mention the immigration visa type "Counterfoil" with document number issue date and expiry. If you dont see it now they will update it after a day or two.
