The eligibility piece was never updated. It's still showing in progress in the online account. Infact, after submitting the application, it was all silent until I received the passport request.

Is your online account showing the status- Your eligibility is being reviewed?
And you received PPR separately in email?

Till now on this thread, among post Feb-15th applications ,only one application got pp request . Hope for next week.

Last week My brother noticed update online but no email was sent. No change in the status. His application was updated to reviewing eligibility two weeks back. I dunno what are they doing with the file? Only updates details column no actual updates. Its been one month complete.

Lodged app on 19 feb
Updated it to review of eligibility on 8 march
Updated again on 16 march but no changes in status.

Visa staff have done some internal checks on your brother's application.... hence, the reason for the updates but no visible change in the status.

It's possible your brother can get a decision soon, maybe even this week

Yes, my eligibility status had not changed and I had received a separate email in my online account. The email was in the same section where you can see your confirmation of application submission.

Once the passport was sent to embassy and stamped, all the fields were updated and the application status was set to Approved.

Hi Friends,

I applied for my mother-in-laws visa on 23rd Feb online but i have not received any email apart from "initial submission" and "under review".
Last time when I applied for my parents visa, I got it in one week but it seems it goes case by case.

Do you know what are the next steps and how much time they are taking after decision to provide stamped passport? My mother in law is in Gujarat and she will need to travel to Ahmedabad to drop passport after decision. I just want to know approx time they are returning passport.

Is it possible if person who applied first time ever gets decision quicker then the person who applied few time.
My few relative who applied first time got decision in almost 10 day whereas other who applied before with history and were rejected ,they are still in a waitin que .
