Plz share ur profile and was it a paper or online application? Did u get it only in a week?
Guys please keep this forum going and respond to the threads posted. A lot of us needs help here. As Canadian Immigration seems to follow no time frame and people are getting their decisions up and down the line. People who are applying later are getting their visas before the others who had already applied.
For people who have been waiting for more than 5 weeks they can fill up a form online, here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp
People who are going for May intake gotta let them know otherwise they might not open your file at right time. So whosoever, has applied more than 5 weeks ago can fill their forms and expect positive results.

Did you get an acknowledgment mail? Did you submit your appication on your own or your agent did?
