Feb 2017 applicants received their MR in Feb 2018. Why should it prevent you from travelling? You know you could take it anywhere as long as its one of the panel physicians.

Please, did I do this correctly?

Last week I was asked to update some documents, which I did and uploaded to my CIC account, but this morning I realized that I made a mistake so I immediately wrote an explanation letter explaining the mistake that I made and updated the attached document with an attached form and sent via case inquiry in their website.


I am worried now... did i do correct?

Thanks for sharing the timeline, I did my medical on March 6, 2018, and they have their own website to check the medical status, and they haven't uploaded it yet. Their website says 7~10 days.

Continue checking CIC but give it till about friday the 16th. Then contact them next monday if no changes. Tomr would make 7 days since you did it. Mine took about 8 days to reflect on CIC.

so took almost a year after AOR to get mr.
But who knows, they seem to be working a bit faster now.

I have the same timeline and can see that status changed on my account too. Probably it means nothing, we will see

Thank you. How long are we allowed to be outside Canada while going through permanent residency steps? Is it Ok to be outside of Canada for a couple of months after medicals done and wait? Or we have to have jobs and whatnot?

Idk. you have to call CIC.

I would suggest you not travel if you dont have a job unless you really need to.
I'm working and i travelled a couple times but for like a week or 2. no extended periods, and they gave me no issues.

I have a closed work permit and trv.
