My study permit doesn't say anything about work. I had read, before applying, about how it needed to explicitly say that I was authorized to work, and so when the border agent gave me my study permit and I saw that it didn't say anything about working, I asked him, twice, whether it needed to say this. He assured me that, due to new regulations, I was automatically authorized to work with my study permit and it didn't need to say it on it. Is this true, or will I have trouble getting a SIN? Thanks!
