I do check every time before I go to bed, I shouldn't be doing it but still I do it for the sake of doing it. Which specific institutions are you referring here ? Nationalized institutions are prompt in their service compared to the regional once.

Sometimes I feel like WES guys are showing more attitude then CIC in terms of processing our application.

You should contact them. It usally takes 3-4 days to change it to "documents received. Under review"
After reading other comments I think it takes 15 days. I will call them anyways. Thanks
My docs delivered to them on 2/23 and status changed to "documents received" on March 1
