I did - and when everyone got the BGC is progress on 02/27 - my additional doc column changed from "we need more docs" to "we are reviewing".

My additional docs status also changed on the same day as the bgc changed on feb 27. Previously it was, the add doc you provided have been uploadedà now it is, “we are reviewing the add docs you provided”. When people order notes, there is usually change with add docs status so that’s probably what happened with you. Does that mean your bgc did not change on feb 27?

no - my BGC column didnt change :-(

Has any one noticed the language in additional document column? Initially it was "the additional documents you have provided are being reviewed" and it was changed to "we are reviewing the additional documents you have provided". what could it mean?

Yes the wording has changed but the meaning is the same

In my case they changed bgc under process and additional documents not applicable.can some one advise me what does it mean

My husband did MP enquiry and got the following response:


Below are the details we received regarding your case.


Application was received May 8th, 2017- with a 12 month processing time

On June 30th, 2017 the file was sent to the New Delhi office

CIC has received all the documents which you have sent in and nothing else is needed

The medicals have been completed and passed

Criminality check also has been completed and passed

The eligibility check is currently in progress and under review

The security check is still pending.

Our background check started on 27feb..any idea guys??

Hey guys, we just got a response for my wife from CIC requesting some additional documents along with the Scheduled A background form.
1) Client Information. Family Registration Certificate

She is from Pakistan and I don't think she has ever made a FRC because she has never needed one. She always used her B-Form wherever it was required of Birth Certificate.

My question is Do we need to goto NADRA office and get her a FRC. What are the steps in obtaining it.

Also I read on the websites that you can get an FRC issued with your spouse or siblings. Since I'm not in pakistan right now. Is it okay for her to get one that involves siblings. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

In addition to above, My background went to in process on March 1st but still no response, I have checked in this forum and it says we should get PPR in a week after it goes to a background in process. How long to wait more any idea.
