Hi everyone, I applied for student visa on 22feb 2018 and I just received a rejection letter stating that the VO is not satisfied that I will leave Canada after my study on the basis of

  1. Immigration status in country of residence
  2. Purpose of my visit.
  3. Employment status.
  4. Immigration status.
i am a housewife and my husband was sponsoring me for my studies .i attached my husband's statements.that was about 80k Canadian dollars i payed half semester fee too. still they were not satisfied.I am just a HOUSE WIFE living in Dubai and I obviously have no job so i got the objection on employment status. I am originally from Pakistan.Although I have no idea why there's an objection on the purpose of my visit. i already have TRV.
I have read around forums people suggesting to order CAIPS for better re-application, I am not sure it will help me much or what not, Please help me out.

I live in dubai too. But to be honest, i heard it's better to apply from your home country. Nowadays, rejection chances of people applying from here are high. So, better try from your home country.

I know right, but no other way i guess. Even i'm here in UAE for long, did my schooling, then later completed my undergraduate degree here in UAE. recently one of my friend, who applied from Abudhabi got rejected.

You are currently in a country which will never provide permanent residency. The visa officer thinks that you are looking for a permanent resd now. He may also think that you dont have enough points for Express Entry so you are taking the route of study permit. This could be the one of the main reasons but there may be others which you will find out in caips report.

Your statement itself is enough evidence that you have very weak home ties. You have been out of Home country for more than a decade so how the VO can be convinced of your hometies

Hi , well the main reason was home ties / ties to country of citizenship .
So you need to rectify that and re-apply .

I've been traveling to home country 2 times a year since last 25 years and clearly mentioned that "family" is the best home tie , alongside property documents belonging to my mother .

Did you provide letter of explanation ?
