Hey there,
I'm applying for restoration of status. At this stage, I've just decided to apply for restoration as a visitor - I may be studying in Canada and have received a letter of offer to do my MA, but haven't decided whether to do that this year, or take a year off, so have decided not to apply for a study permit just yet.
Now, about the proof of funds: I have $3350 in my Canadian bank account, plus $125 US in my US dollar bank account, plus around $600 CAD in a New Zealand bank account. Will this be enough, or will I need my dad to write a letter and provide proof of funds as well?
Also, another side question if anyone can answer: I notice that the application requires not just a photo of the front page of my passport, but a photocopy of every marked page. I'm a little worried. I have an Iran visitor's visa in my passport from eighteen months ago. I was in Iran for two weeks and the visa sticks out like a sore thumb. Is this likely to result in my application being refused? All I went there for was to go on holiday and visit friends/family.
