My husband is going to be here in canada for six months on a visitor visa. He does hold his international drivers permit from Grenada. Will he be able to apply for an Ontario drivers license ?

Ontario will recognize the IDP if he is staying for more than 3 months, with his Grenada licence.

I searched on this forum, and visitors can apply for a DL in Ontario, but he will start with a G1 learning licence. Keep in mind it takes two years to get a full licence in Ontario under graduated licensing.
