Hello folks,
I need your advice on what to do right now,
I am in process of getting PR through paper based application and since this process takes 18 months I decided to apply for tourist visa for USA and visit for 7 days since I have friend who lives there,I already made an appointment for interview in USA embassy and paid all fees but I am so confused and stressed what to do?
I am scared that If I get refused for USA visa that might make some problems on my PR application, what is your advice guys should I go for that interview or cancel and wait to get my PR first and then apply again?
I would really appreciate your help

You are overthinking. Getting US visa has nothing to do with Canadian PR.
Thanks for your reply,
But let's say I get refused for USA visa do I have to inform Cic about that?
I am worried that later when they are doing security check on my PR application might cause some problems ?

If you get refused for a US visa before you apply for PR, yes, you have to inform IRCC in the question about getting refused visas.

Unless your US visa was refused because of a serious security or health risk, an ordinary refusal based on travel history or finances won't affect your PR application.

Thanks,
But how about if I get refused for USA visa during my PR process, do you think I still have to inform Cic about it and will that have any impact on my outgoing PR application ?
