Hi,

I want to know what documents are required in case we want to have medical test of our new born baby. He is only 15 days old.

And whether medical test is required for new born or not? We are applying for permanent residency visa and already received ITA for me and my spouse.

Thanks,

Hello,

a new born will need a medical test but it will be a small physical screening by the physician. no other tests will be done.

Yes. For sure. You will need to take a copy of the ITA which will have the names of the people who need to take the tests. Currently you can do 1 thing. Take an exam for you and your partner and submit your profile. Once you have the passport for your new born, you can raise a CSE and update your profile with the information.

CIC will then guide you further if anything has to be done further.

alternatively, you can reject the ITA and wait for the next round of invitations. in the meantime get your baby's passport and all other docs ready.

Hey Nishant, I am in same situation right now. I have received ITA and now have new born. He is Canadian citizen. Should he be part of process as applicant? or I should mention him as family member. Not sure whether i should perform medical test or not. I am still awaiting birth certificate.

Not an applicant and does not do a medical.
