BG Stuck in IP1

How do you tell that you are in IP1? I am in the same situation as you because of the FBI PCC which was sent on 28 February (3 months later than AOR date) but I do not know if I am on IP1 or IP2

It says that they will send me a message when the background check is started. I thought that meant Ip1

After your Medical Pass, if your background check reads"your application is in progress. we will send you a message when we start your background check." than its IP1.

And if it reads"We are processing your background check. we we will send you a message if we need anything" than its IP2.

I'm in almost the same situation as you. AOR Jan 14, MEP Jan 31 and FBI PCC ADR on Jan 31. Submitted FBI PCC on Feb 11 and still in IP1

have you ever tried to call? did you order GCMS notes?

Reviews of AD changed to We do not need AD 27 Feb/

After big change on the 27th of Feb, so confused..
I emailed CPC-CTD-Ottawa and yesterday, they told me that CIO-Sydney is currently processing your application.
So I think my app is still in IP1..no change since 27 Feb..

Not necessary.. i have read somewhere that CIO proceed all stages. My opinion is follow what your application status says. So you are already in IP2 and very near to ppr. Good luck

I ordered notes yesterday. You can also call them as notes will take up to 40 days

My notes should arrive soon. I'll try calling next week though i never got through before.

No I haven't done either. I was told that calling them could annoy them. So I'm going to wait for another couple of weeks and see how things go. How about you?

I've ordered notes too, ETA later this month. Hope things move along before I need to bother about poring over them
