Indian PCC Issue

Please help me with the following queries...

1. I have passport with spouse name added on it, while my wife's passport is the same she had before marriage. Is it necessary to add spouse details in each other's passport to get PCC in india, and does IRCC require it in sucha a format.

2. Her passport was issued in 2011. I read somewhere that PCC is issued the same day only if the passport had been issued a year before or less. Is that true?

Its not necessary atleast One's passport carries spouse name or you should have marriage certificate in English.

Yes PCC are normally issued same day.

Her passport is more than a year old(issued i. 2011)...will it cause any issues? Or will she get it on the same day?

If the current address and the address on the passport are same, then you may get the PCC on the same day itself, Otherwise, there might be a police verification at the current address and hence might be some delay.
