Dears,
i have not submitted my profile yet or starting anything, the savings account for me and my wife are in her name, not mine. i will apply for me and my wife for EE, but i am worried about POF .

we have around 13K CAD at the moment, and we are putting money in it gradually i believe by the end of this year we will have around 20K, regardless.

today (3rd of March) i will start a joint account and will deposit the money in it, and then keep putting in our savings until we reach out goal.

i am worried by the time i get asked to show POF, we wont have 6 months period on our statement.

could this happen? or i should worry because i will not receive an application or ITA before 6 months my points around 460.

if this could happen, can i only supply the statement with my wife's name on it with proxy from her to use this money for immigration purposes ?

and when exactly i have to show the POF to the immigration office?

You do not need to open a new account or joint account for POF. You can show multiple accounts including your wife's account as she is secondary applicant. All you need to get from her is to get affidavit done stating that you are authorised to use the money in her account freely without any restrictions. There is a format for this affidavit on internet, just google it.

Coming to the second part of your query, they need to see six months average just to see that you did not borrow it from someone. You just need to prove the source of that funds available in the account like salary, gift from parents , etc. There is no restriction that you need to have that amount for six months. Funds can go in incremental every month before submitting your application (after ITA) for example from salary to satisfy the minimum amount.

Good luck.
