my husband has 5 years work experience and we wanna apply together with him being the primary applicant.

Does his work experience suffice for both of us to apply together for a express entry or do i also have to have worked in a skilled type of labor for at least a year to be eligible to apply also?

Since your husband is the primary applicant, most of the points will be from his profile. However, you can also add points through your educational qualification, IELTS, etc. See this - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html

I had already seen that but there was one point that it said both have to qualify as skilled workers to apply, though I am educated and scored 8.5 and up in my IELTS, I cannot prove my work experience. He certified can. Can I also end up having the PR if we apply together? We score 450 together.

Your foreign work experience doesn't add any points to his application anyways.

Yes, if you're included as an accompanying spouse you will both get PR.

I would be interested to see where you found that both need to be eligible to apply. My brother who is married applied under FSW with his wife as accompanying spouse. His wife did not even appear for IELTS or submit any experience letter as their score was good enough to get an ITA and they are both in Canada now as PR.
