Study Permit extension before travelling to Canada (Sept-2018)

My situation:
1- I enrolled in Conestoga College for January-2018 program and applied for study permit.
2- Visa office took long time reviewing my application so I changed the program intake and enrolled in September-2018 program.
3- I got TRV & Approval for study permit in Nov-2017, which are valid until Nov-2018.

I want to apply to extend the Study Permit and TRV as per the new program schedule (until April-2019). Also I want to bring my wife and children with me.

My questions:
1- To extend TRV & SP, shall I apply now or wait until reach Canada?
2- I have a 4-years old daughter; does she need Study Permit to attend KG school?
Could anybody answer.

Same thing happened to me, you can extend it once you get to Canada

Yes she needs a student visa.

She is Egyptian and needs TRV, shall I fill (Schedule 1 Application for Temporary Residence IMM5257b) for her?
It is written that this format is for +18 yrs applicants.
