FingerPrint request (doing through local police, RCMP, or privately in North Vancouver/Vancouver)

Hi, just got a digital finger print request. My question is, what do you recommend, getting them through my local RCMP office, the Vancouver police, or a private service like the commissionaires. The cost seems to be similar, so not sure if there are advantages in terms of processing times, or certain offices sending the results to the CIC directly. Thanks.

Are you sure the price is the same?

I am in the US and it costs around 250$ With the agencies ...

You could get it done from either. Does not matter. There are no advantages or disadvantages. Just make sure your getting it done through a legit source.

I have done my FP on 13-Feb-2018 and they gave me a document which includes the Email ID of the RCMP and the details which I should included in the Email to check with the RCMP. Unfortunately I lost that document and the receipt.

It would be highly highly appreciate if you guys could let me know what is the Email ID and the required details I should include in the Email to know about the status of my FP?

I included my full legal name and Date of birth and they were able to find me. Also they replied in just couple of hours.

I got the reply from RCMP and they said they have sent my FP result. I hope everything is good and just waiting for the Test Invite.

That’s good. But did you call IRCC to confirm if they have received it? I called IIRC 2 days back but they didn’t find them in their system. FP were on Feb 13.

I tried to call them since yesterday but because of high volume of call not able to talk to them
