In the US.
The length of the face from the chin to the top of the head should be 31-36 mms.
In Canada , there is no problem because Costco,Walmart, Photopro are aligned to this automatically.
If you are taking the photo in the US, please only take it in Walmart / Walgreens and tell them to align it as per Canadian specs.
Earlier, I did the mistake of going to CVS.

And ofcourse - the stamp on one of the photos with date, name and DOB

Why do people get new photo requests for PR card? Is it because the photos you submitted are not as per specs (dimensions, facial expression, etc). But isn't this already checked during the PPR phase?

I think it is to do with the dimensions
70X50 mm and Chin to crown of the head should be 31 to 36 mm
+ plus maybe the stamp at the back with date on which the photo was taken.

Ok..but maybe not the back of photo. My photo attached to cic copy of CoPR doesn't have the details on backside.

Guys does any body in this thread has changed the additional documents is unploaded to not applicable?Mine photos were received on 14 the February but before it was uploaded but today I noticed not applicable.It is weired or normal?

I think it's a system glitch from the latest online maintenance. Mine says the same thing and photos were received Feb 19.

Ok..but maybe not the back of photo. My photo attached to cic copy of CoPR doesn't have the details on backside.

One of the 2 photos needs to have the stamp and the details at the back. Difficult to understand the process as at the time of PPR we submitted 2 photos with the details on the back of one of the photos. And they stuck one photo on the COPR form.
And in a good number of cases, they are asking for photos to be resent. So the major reason may be the dimensions etc.

They didn't use the printed photo in my case. They returned it to me with the client copy of CoPR. It doesn't make sense why they used the other (non printed) photo instead.

That's awesome! Did you send your photos to the courier address or PO box?

Just to be more precise, it doesn't depend on where you call from, but from what kind of number. I tried to call it now from within Canada with my old US phone number, and when they transfer me to CIC immigration services, it says that the number is not available from my area, while it works if I use my Canadian phone number.

Maybe they just ban some US area code, but not all of them.

You should put *67 before CIC number while calling from US number. That will mask your number and you would be able to connect. Tried and tested lots of times.
