I guess I will just pay... who cares about 200$... As long as I become a citizen...

Look at it this way. If you don't pay and they want the translations, not only are you going to pay anyhow, but you'll also delay your application while waiting for the translations and then sending them in, etc etc etc. Seems more logical to do it preemptively

Quick question of behalf of someone else - he received request for finger print for citizenship application. Which one would be faster - 1. Local police station 2. RCMP office 3. Private companies accredited by RCMP. Service charge for fingerprint is not an issue, processing time is - will pick the faster route

As long as he/she has them done electronically it won't matter, nobody will be faster than another unless of course you need to have an appointment in which case whoever can do it first?

Depends on your office... I am in Mississauga. I kept checking my ECAS every day. On Friday I saw the Test line and I received my physical invitation today by regular mail...

Just want to make sure are you talking about test invite or oath invite?

Just qpassed my test today in Hamilton, Ontario. 20/20 correct. They said they are working in my fingerprints. Once that is taken care of, I should get an Oath invitation. Total process including everything shouldn't be more than 3 months they said.

Hello I got ceremony invitation and in the letter it says 9:15 while the website has two times anyone knows when the guest should arrive is it with the applicants or in a different time?

Did you get the oath invitation by mail? Does online account also reflect the update?

Thanks! He did it today at an accredited company. But the RCMP will send him back the results and he then would have to send cic the results. Do you know which address he should send it to? Is it the same one at Sydney, NS?

Thanks. I don't know yet. All I know is I accidentally logged into CIC portal to check my status an hour ago and I found line 4. That's it
