Pre arrival letter

My wife received pre - arrival message letter from Cic immigration Canada in India,but when I check through available self serve system through Cic telephone number , it’s say they processing for background check . How long they gonna took to do checking and so on .

No real timeline for background check, it can take weeks or months.

Inland or outland? Was it sent before Dec, the year before they made changes to the processing times? It used to be 24 months for inland, I think. Best to call them or order your notes to see what's going on.

Pre-arrival is generally a good thing but can't know for certain until background check is complete.

I think so but some people got in 2-3 business days because they have already 12 months. I guess
