Sponsoring Iraqi spouse residing illegally in Turkey

Hopefully someone knowledgable would be able to address my question.

My spouse is residing illegally in turkey as she is originally from Iraq.

Would I still be able to sponsor her? Does she need to leave Turkey and go back to Iraq if I was to sponsor her under the family class?

Does the application requires that she has legal status in Turkey with a proof?

You can sponsor her while she is in Turkey. She will need to have a valid passport to apply and also ensure that she is 100% honest in her application about her current immigration status in Turkey.

Good question. Though depending on her length of illegal stay in Turkey, the Turkish airport authorities usually tolerate, upto 10 days overstay on visit visas without issuing any penalty or fine.

However during her exit process at the airport, the Turkish authorities may process an overstay fine + 3 - 5 year entry ban to Turkey (deportation).

So the question relates to, what is her TOURISTIC VISA, expire date?
