That's one of the things I heard, but haven't really tried personally yet. Generally it's to skip the mandatory "learner" period dito, which is around 2 years. Hindi pa ako nag apply ng license since pinapalipas ko muna winter.

Salamat salamat! Yan din reason ko kung bakit kailangan ko din niyan, to skip the learner period sa Ontario.LTO main East Ave, valid DL lang for the request. May ibibigay sila claim stub. Tapos yung certificate automatic sa DFA Aseana na ang claiming, sasabihin na sa LTO kagad kung kailan (around 2 weeks iirc). Dahil minalas sa bagal ng DFA, took me around half day.
hello everyone! question to successful applicants. how does CIC count years of experience outside canada? do they count excess months? this is my case for your reference.
Company A - full-time
January 2, 2012 - June 4, 2014 (2 years and 5 months)
Company B - full-time
June 5, 2014 - Present (3 years and 8 months at present)
both work will fall under 1 NOC only and as you can see my work has no gaps in between.
my question is- will my experience be counted as 6 years full time? or just 5 years full time? (entirely omitting the excess months that is cumulative of 1 year).

Is this applicable to FSW or just CRS?
Can you please how did you arrive on this figure? Also, is 5-week PAID vacation leave(US trip) considered under work experience? TIA.

It's because it's not very common to accumulate years of experience in one company. All of us would have switched jobs and we'd only deduct any time spent between jobs. If you have been working since Jan 2012, then that is 6 years.
Hello po Seniors! Newbie here, actually from Pinoy international student forum na promote lang today due to ITA ng husband ko who is on OWP under my SP. Got few questions sana to those who might have experience and Big thanks in adv.
1. In bridging owp, when can we apply for it? I’ve read its upon AOR.
2. Are we, family dependent of my husband included in the bridging program? So can I apply for OWP?
3. If not, kelangan ko ba mg extend ng SP (which is iniiwasan sana namin to lessen the cost). My SP and Our family visa and permit will expire Jun 2018 and I studied from Priv Sch not eligible for PGWP. Almost done na ako.
4. I Have a 12 yo boy na nasa Gr-6 under TRV (dependent of SP expiring Jun2018 too) What will be his visa for him to continue studying?

@arthurmr , i got a certificate of no apprehension from LTO as well, meaning, dalhin ko na lang ito sa DFA for authentication is it? salamats..
Found this online, mukhang ibang document pa yan (which I don't have) for insurance purposes, at least based on this site: https://pinoy-canada.com/how-to-get-lto-certificate-and-a-discount-on-insurance-premiums/
Yung sa DFA is the driving history part. Yung claim stub from LTO lang ang ippresent mo na document. Then payment, verify info, etc. In the end, DFA magbibigay nung LTO certification with DFA certification (aka red ribbon).

Thanks for this! Napabasa na din ako sa blogs kagabi eh. Mukang yung No Apprehension para sa car insurance rather than the learner stage. Pero may nabasa din ako na kahit daw walang red ribbon nakakuha sila ng non-learner license tawag nila (local certificate).
Nasa Ontario ka na pala diba? Nakakuha ka na ba ng driver's license? Sobrang iba din daw yung pagddrive dyan kaya nagpplan ako mag driving school sa June pag dating namin.
