Don't worry, both OINP and CIC pay attention to your job responsibilities rather than titles. As for me, I have NOC 1112 and 2 different job titles in my reference letter for 2 periods, the third in the employment contract and the 4th according to the NOC title. I was nominated without any problems.
Just be sure that your responsibilities are ~80% as in NOC requirements.
Thanks, that sounds reassuring - and pleased to hear you had no problem getting nominated in a similar way.

Hi! I'm currently filling up OINP application. I'm confused if i should list all jobs under work history section of OINP. I have a job that I wont be claiming points for. I cant get a reference letter for this job and it was just 11 months work experience. It's also different from my primary NOC. I also didnt mention it when I created my EE profile. But in work history of OINP, it says list all jobs in the past 10 years. I'm confused if I should include it or not. Thanks!
Put the job under other activities since you aren't claiming points for it.

Hello Sundar,

I am a newbie here and just got an NOI at CRS 438. Well I am in the process of evaluating my options of direct-ITA vs. OPNO, I just wanted to be sure about how much time I've to submit. The Ontario HCP guide states the following:

"Your NOI is valid for 45 calendar days, which means that you must submit your application to the OINP within 45 days of receiving your NOI from Ontario"

So is that mean that I have total 45 days to create, upload docs and submit the fees for NOI evaluation ? As there is no mention of extra 14 days to submit... Can you please corroborate ? Thanks.
I agree with you . Nowhere mentikned abt 14 days
There are two phases, registration and Submission.
We used to register under OINP within 6months (45 days now) and once you register you will be having 14 days to submit the documents.

May be there is a change in the deadline for submission of the documents recently (45 against 14). But please keep an eye on the deadline calculator in your profile. It reminds you, how many days you have , to submit the documents.

You are very right. 45days to accept the NOI and 14 dayS to submit a complete application from the day you create your profile on OINP one key portal.

Hi! Thanks for the response. You sure about this? Coz it states that in Other Activities, I should activities excluding education and employment
i guess excluding paid employments for which you are claiming points for.
You are supposed to include employments you are not claiming points for under other activities. i included a six years work experience in other activities and i had no problems.

Lost 10 points between last draw and today's draw because of my birthday (I'm 41) and with that my score reduced to 393 from 403. No point in increasing my IELTS as it gets me a max of 399 CRS. I, now, lost the opportunity for OINP. With LMIA jobs becoming impossible for 2174, I have no choices left.
I'm thinking of changing my profile as "Non accompanying spouse" because that puts my score at 405 and gives me another opportunity for one more year. But, I read its troublesome to get spouse PR done later. Has anyone gone through this and was able to get things done successfully without much hassle? Any info on this will be much appreciated.

Hi all, i got the nomination from OINP on 8th feb. Crs is 439 noc 4031.
Need expert advices, should i go with it? Or wait for crs to come down? As ircc is not in mood currently to bring crs down. 7th and 21th feb draw were same i.e.442.
What is reason of not bringing crs down???

You got NOI not nomination.
You have 45 days to accept the NOI. Wait for a couple of draws within this period and make ur decision before the 45 days elapse...
My thoughts...

That's really painful... May your new age bring you goodluck.
spousal sponsorship should poise difficulty when you are ready. however you can apply only after two years i think... make your findings and pray.
i hope oinp starts giving out NOI to 400.. if not for their delay u should have gotten an NOI before your birthday.

Although you knew about this one, just want to remind other ways to increase.
Have you tried learning french, the score of band 5 will push you back to >400's.

Also, @tjsecondary who is in similar position is taking up courses in canada to acquire points for inland learning.

I know these routes have a huge toll on your time but if you are serious about immigration, you can resort to above routes.

Hi All,

I received a NOI on 26-Jan-18 and submitted my application to OINP on 10-Feb-18. I didn't receive any AOR and the application status on ONE-key is "Submitted" as of today.

Is it normal not to receive AOR for this long as I've seen people normally receive AOR on the same day they submit the online application.

My CRS was 439 when I received the NOI and dropped to 434 when I submitted the application because of age. The screenshot of NOI that I submitted had the updated CRS and also in the application I mentioned the updated CRS but didn't provide any explanation for the drop in score. I have provided all the remaining documents as requested and meet all the criteria specified in the guide.
