Who know if I take 3-4 months vocation because my employer can't give me hours in the winter time,it's going affect on my application.

I am November 2016 aplicant,medical request was 5 January. .

I have received an email from my MP that my security verifications is currently valid then I received my GCMS notes that the code of the page that state my security have changed from S.21 to s.15(1) last month !! Is that means my background check is complete ?!

Further, the CIO office send me below email

This email is in response to an inquiry via the Call Centre requesting the status of this application.


Application is awaiting review of an officer.

Notification will be sent in due course.

I just want to know that how can I apply for GCMS, how long does it take to get them? I think that my application is pending under back ground check, its been for 8months since 2017 June. I just want to know my code via GCMS.

hello everyone,

just want to share my timeline to help those people who haven't get their PPR.

My background: in-land ON applicant, I and my bf are separate primary applicant, after becoming common-law we added each other as a dependent.

Application received by CIC: April 18, 2016
AOR: June 15, 2016
RRPF : October 29, 2016
MR: May 1, 2017 (did medical on May 15)
BGC "in progress": Aug 22, 2017
PPR: November 8, 2017 (sent passport on November 9)
DM approved: January 10, 2018
Landing(in-land): January 30, 2018

Still waiting for the PR card...

Hi There...My GF and myself applied separately and now we become common-law partner....CIC asked her to submit proof of relationship like joint bank acct etc....were you requested for similar things?


and I'm curious what happened to your and your BF's applications after that? CIC merged them together or they will consider two cases as separate? thanks!

Guys need suggestion. If i apply through express entry and get invitation. Do i have to inform to cic about it or do i have to withdraw my PNP application? As i have my PNP PR application in process. June 30, 2016 applicant.
