Hi Guys my status says :

Review of additional documents - We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.

I have not receive any details or message on that. Could you guys give any information how long will it take and what would be they asking for?
Does it say anything in your ecas? Like "we sent you correspondence on [date] ..." ? If not, wait a few days to see if you get an email. They may have flagged that they need more/updated info, but have not sent the email yet.

Good morning guys,

My spouse (PA) received all the supporting documents we sent at her home address from her Visa office at singapore. Seems like they didn't even open some of the items. There is no instruction or letter attached to the mail. I checked on-line services and GCkey both and no updates there .

Would anybody know why would they send everything back without a letter (photos, receipts, plane tickets etc)

I'm really scared, please let me know if anybody is aware of the situation .

Regards

Anybody? Just some.addition info - my spouse's background check didn't start yet .everything else is done.

No one can know for sure. But it could mean that eligibility is passed and they don't need that evidence anymore. Usually they return them once eligibility has been passed. But again, there's no way to know what's going on in your file. If you want to find out exactly, order GCMS notes.

No I do not see any updates on ecas. This status is since more than a week now with no updates. This is so frustrating, NDVO is just buying time with this trick I guess.

Ya, hard to tell. You can always send them a short email to make sure.

COPR arrived.
I’ll be doing my landing next week when returning from vacation. :-)

Hi everyone. My wife just saw a missed call from the embassy in Havana. She was working and it was after 5 by the time she saw it. She's going to call back tomorrow but does anyone have any idea what it could be about. She completed her medical 3 weeks ago tomorrow.

I know you want answers, but how would anyone here know what the embassy wanted to talk to your wife about? It can be anything, and you can probably think of what it could be by yourself. Just wait until she can figure out what it is they want, there's no point in going over it right now with absolutely no information about it.

My husband got a phone call after medical too.. they asked 1. Did he do medical and when 2. When did I last come to Cuba to visit him 3. They told him they will start looking at BGC and police check. Will ask for new one if needed. If you call that number back, will be answering service prob. Send them an email or wait for them to call back (they will eventually). If they need more info they will contact you.

Did you check messages in your GCkey? We had the same thing..."We need more documents..." and there was a letter in the GCkey account asking for proof of the sponsor's (me) intent to reside in Canada once the applicant (my husband) is approved for PR. So they could be asking for additional proof of intent or proof of genuine relationship, or could be asking for an updated copy of a police certificate if your certificate was more than 6 months ago. Check your GCkey for messages under the status updates. Also check under "View submitted application" (the blue button at bottom of page when looking at your status updates) to see if they've added any new upload instructions.

Good afternnon everybody,

I just checked my spouse's on line services and it shows Decision Made. No new lines added.
When I log in to GCKey account it shows the application is Updated but once I get into the application there is no new info (still shows background check hasn't started and they will let us know once it starts)

All the supporting documents were returned without an explanation letter to my spouse's home address. I have placed an inquiry + applied for the GCMS notes recently.

I am feeling very anxious now. Would they still say decision made if the application gets rejected for some reason? I do not see any reason for the app to get rejected since I have provided them with even pictures of us which were 10 years old!!

Your input is much appreciated.
