Citizenship Applications after Bill C-6

Can someone tell me how long should I wait before calling CIC regarding status of FP? FP done week ago.

I've applied for citizenship with my parents ( both are over 55 and don't speak English). We are now at test/interviews stage and will have it on the same date and time. The invite letter included an extra sheet of information for accompanying person or interpreter and it states the accompanying person or the interpreter must not have citizenship application in progress. So can I be the interpreter as I will have the test and interview with them on the same day and time or not? Please share your experiences if you have similar situation.

As it says from your question, "it states the accompanying person or the interpreter must not have citizenship application in progress."

You cannot be their intreprter. You not 'accompanying' person technically becuase you are there for your own test/interview as well. I would suggest take someone along who can interpret them.

They may start interviewing your parents while you are writing your exams. I was done with my exam early and they started interviewing me right away, while others were still writing the exam. Instead of taking chances I would just take someone else.
And technically speaking your application is still in progress till you receive a letter, which will say the decision has been made. Which will be after your test and interview.

Do we need to translate all the stamps in our passport that are not in English for the test day?

If it is not clear if the stamps are for entry or exit to a country esp the dates, I would recommend getting them translated for your test/interview day. Otherwise there could be delays. Good Luck!

4. We sent you a notice on February 20, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on March 8, 2018 at 3:45 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us​

However, I did not receive an E-MAIL and I assume if it is indeed MAIL, it will probably take longer to get to me.

Any idea if it doesn't show up, when is the earliest to contact them? 1 day before, a few days before or a week before?

This actually means that a letter was mailed out to you just yesterday if you did not receive an email. Wait this week before worrying about anything, usually only takes a few days. Get in touch with them next week if you don't get anything at all by then. Good luck preparing for the test though!

Experts please help.

I have question reagrding physical presence calculator and stamps on the passport:

I made a trip to London UK. Left Canada: July 1st 2017 - becuase of time difference arrvied UK July 2nd 2017 (stamp on passport from UK Border is July 2nd)... But the problem is on my physical presence calculator I wrote From July 1st 2017.

I have at least 4 trips like that to other countries with 1 day descrepancy.

Is it going to be an issue? Anyone with similar past experience please share, thank you.
