@sandhu5644 you are pretty new to this trv waiting part. I and @kira260 are waiting for 90+ days. @ubfx waited for 139 days before getting request for passport.. so sit back and relax..

only refusal cases get updates and that too within 10-15 days.

If you havent heard for 30+ days then there are chances that you may get ur trv approved.

I dont know what he did, this is why Im asking, some of the people whom sent a request to check thirr status from CIC get refusal, other didnt receive anything yet, hopefully its clear now why I asked the question!

No I don’t know . Online status shows that background check is NA. I hope it doesn’t apply to my case.

73 days still no updates, rejected visitor visa online once in 17 days. Now I don’t know why they r taking so many days. Do u know anyone who got visas after crossing 70 days.

It may be because you are a government employee. They will probably do more security checks which take time.

I am also waiting 90+ days I was refused first time back in August in 16 days. People who re apply sometimes get their visa in a day! But we're stuck in Background checks
