Dear Legalfalcon,
I hope you are doing good. Need your help on the below issue.

I have filed a case in India to get divorce from my wife. It has been going on for a year now and sadly not much progress as it is the same all over India. We have been living separately for more than 2 years now. Can I submit an affidavit stating that I have filed a case and will CIC accept it as a proof of Legal separation??

What are the proofs CIC will expect for Legal separation?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm very confused about my case. Following is my timeline:
AOR: August 11, 2017 (EE Ontario PNP)
Medical Passed: Sep 6, 2017 (Status Changed to IP2 instead of IP1)
ADR of RCMP: Sep 6, 2017
Submitted RCMP: Sep 21, 2017
Status Changed to "We don't need any additional Documents": Sep 23, 2017
Status again Changed to "We need addition Documents to continue..": Sep 27, 2017
Applied for Notes and according to Notes:
On October 19th, 2017 at CIO Sydney, case agent added a note that "Job Duties don't clearly match NOC. Review required for Lead Statement. Review Required for Roles and Responsibilities"
On October 20th, file transferred to Ottawa.
After that nothing happened and after contacting my employer I provided a revised reference letter (Because my old reference letter did not list Job responsibilities at all) on Jan 3, 2018.
Applied notes again and According to notes,
Revised Employment Letter got attached on Jan 5th, 2018. Still no review by IRCC after Oct 19th, 2017
On Feb 6, 2018, Status of Additional Documents Changed to "We don't need any additional Documents..." (Last time it changed to "We need more..." on Sep 26, 2017.)
I called IRCC on Feb 9th, 2018 to know the status of my application and they said. "Your file has been transferred to London Visa Office yesterday i.e. Feb 8th, 2018".
Now I don't know what's going on. Why did they first transfer my file to Ottawa and then after 3 months, transferred it to London?

P.S. BG status is still IP2 since Sep 6, 2017, and I'm not in Security Screening. IMO that IP2 was a technical glitch because many people who were requested to provide RCMP got IP2. I'm more concerned about what happened on Feb 6th, 2018 when additional document status got changed and after 2 days file transferred to London.

One of my friend who was from FSW stream got the same treatment. Firstly the file got transferred to Ottawa in October (He also had an issue with Job Letter and he provided update Letter through CSE after getting GCMS), then he got ADRs for his Employment (Tax Returns, Bank Statement showing Salary) on Feb 4th, 2018, which he submitted on the very next day and on Feb 9th, 2018, his file also got transferred to London but his IP2 status changed to NA when he submitted ADRs.

Any idea why didn't they matched? didn't you align your role and responsibilities properly?

Sir i.need ur help..ive got adr for passport biopage nd height nd eye color..actually i mentioned our eye color as black.wen.submitting application..bt i did nit.just follow providing standard informtion on blank paper..i just went to eye.consultant who has identified our eyes as brown..wat do u.suggest shall i upload that consultant`s letter or shall.i just explain in blank paper as black eyes wat i submitted in my application..plz m v confuse guide me accordingly..

Job Duties were not mentioned at all. Only details of projects which I worked on were given by my employer and OINP gave me PNP on that letter without any objection.

Its a ongoing theory that recently cic has removed the word security screening from gcms notes and only security is listed. Want to learn from your experience is it true? You may have come across many gcms notes between the period of 1st jan 2018 to date, can you confirm if its true or not i.e. cic has removed ss from notes and replaced it with security only? There are many people confused because of this. It will be helpful to all. Thanks!

That is true. I have personally seen them. A person I knoe received notes in october which clearly mentioned SS. Ordered a new set and received in January. All ss info was redacted

It’s irrelevant, your eye colour has no bearing on your application so you have nothing to worry about. Just leave it as it is and no need to upload anything. Besides, that is not an ADR, it is a passport request which means your application has been approved. Congratulations

I completed my Master of Business Administration (Telecom Management) from SITM, Pune under SIU. After reading many webpages, now I am totally confused about the recognition status of my university with WES.

Check the WES tool on their website. If it says your institution is recognized, then it will be, if not, then it is not.

Hope you can assist me with a couple of questions regarding my GCMS notes based on your experience.
As per my Assessment I have the following notes:
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Blank
HIRV: Blank
Criminality: Not Started
Org Crime: Blank
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation: Blank
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Request: In Progress
Final: Blank

Under Admissibilities / Security I have only the 4 sentences as below:
UCI#: xxx
Family Name:xxx
Given Name: xxx
Type: Security

As per one of your previous threads, I understood that if only these 4 lines are evident under S then that means the application is not under SS. Correct? My other concern is would that change at a later stage and the application goes under SS?

Another concern is regarding my Criminality. Although it states Not Started under Assessment, There was over 3 notes by the visa officers at the LVO checking on a previous Caution I had in UK (Which I stated in my application) and one of the VO notes mention Crim already passed - Ok to proceed.
My question is why the Assessment Notes and VO notes contradict each other in regards to my Criminality check?

For security there will be 4 activities similar to the you see above.

The notes show the progress that has taken place and what has transpired. Only after a stage is finalized, the final status is updated on the assessment. Also, some stages take pace in 2-3 stages. Only after an officer finally confirms will the assessment change to passed. Eg. the eligibility is first reviewed by an analysts, who makes a recommendation and then it is finally confirmed by an officer.

BGC started on 2nd Aug which we call as IP2 for our convenience and is still in process. I passed the Eligibility, Criminality and Medicals. There is no mention of SS on couple of GCMS notes that I had ordered in Oct and Nov. Should I order CBSA notes? Will that help to understand that I'm in SS or not? I am really fed up in this long wait of 275 days today...

The 6 months processing time starts from the date when the R10 is complete. If you have passed eligibility, what date was it?

You can definitely order CBSA notes, and they will have the security not retracted, only if it is complete. Most application get stuck in security. Also based on your country of residence the security may take longer.

However, I can't say more with the limited info I have.
